About Man
I love literature and teaching my love for poetry, plays and novels with others.
My specialised interests include modernism, literary theory, Samuel Beckett and W.B. Yeats, and Shakespeare. I also like Victorian novels and the New York poets, and have studied all periods from Beowulf to the modern day.

I teach a rigorous approach to essay-writing, coupled with a keen sensitivity to the subtleties of literature.
I have taught 11+, grammar school entrance exams, GCSE Literature and Language, (Edexcel, AQA), A-Level (AQA), University entrance exams (ELAT) and Business English. In addition, I have proofread manuscripts and books, and produced copy for a digital news firm and cycle company.
All abilities and tutoring requests considered.
