About Lena
I recently graduated from Kansas State University with my Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders, and I will begin my Master’s program this fall as I work toward becoming a Speech-Language Pathologist. I am passionate about working with children and creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable learning and growing. Outside of tutoring, I love dogs, crafting, and spending time outdoors!

With experience working in elementary schools and tutoring K-6 students, I’ve learned how important patience and positivity are in helping children succeed. As a current student myself, I understand the challenges that can come with learning new concepts, and I strive to make sessions supportive, interactive, and confidence-building — especially in math and reading/writing, which I love to teach.
