About Nayan
I am currently a graduate student at the University of Oxford pursuing the Master of Science in Mathematics and Foundations of Computer Science.
My initial introduction to programming happened when I was 14 years old through a flowchart-based programming language called Raptor. I realized that this experience molded my way of thinking, and problem solving, and I wish to give this experience to other people as well.

My aim is to give the student a very deep understanding of whichever subject they want to learn. I have only informally tutored peers and friends, and I'm open to working with anyone.
I believe lessons should be short, about 40-45 minutes, and that these should be followed by a period of reflection. As such, after each lesson, I will be giving the student a few coding exercises in increasing level of difficulty. The point of this is for them to struggle with a couple problems, which will help them develop an approach to problem-solving in general.
