About Garrett
My primary goal in life is to teach those around me, and those who want to learn, about physics. I have a strong passion in physics education, and because of this, I thoroughly enjoy helping those who want to get better at the subject. Since I've gone through the journey of learning physics and math from the very beginning all the way to the graduate level, I understand the struggles that students may come across, and my experiences with that help me connect with students at all levels.

My teaching methodology is centered around the concept of transfer learning. Instead of memorizing a bunch of facts to be later regurgitated on an exam, I teach how to connect new and difficult topics to be better understood through intuition via analogies and transfer of skills.
A typical lesson plan would start by establishing what topics would need to be discussed, and then I would proceed by reintroducing the subject, provide easily understood examples, and then work with the student to connect the presented concepts to what they already know and understand well.
The lessons I provide are for anybody who wants to learn physics and mathematics, want to get better at the subject, or even master the subjects.
