About Scout
I've recently graduated from the South Carolina Governor's School for Science and Mathematics and will be studying Bioengineering at the Clemson University Honors College. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in the medical field. I've completed various upper math and science courses such as AP Calculus BC, AP Physics C, AP Chemistry, and AP Biology. I have previous experience peer-tutoring calculus, physics, and chemistry at the Governor's School, as well as remotely tutoring students from underserved communities. Additionally, I scored a 780 out of 800 on the SAT math section.

I teach various mathematics disciplines by explaining complex concepts in simple ways. I typically educate in a way that appeals to visual learners (as I am one myself), but I'm also able to adapt to my teaching style to each individual student. I primarily teach pre-algebra, algebra, pre-calculus, and calculus. However, I can also tutor applied math subjects such as chemistry and both algebra- and calculus-based physics on the AP level. Lastly, I can help with SAT math section prep.
