About Sheila
I have previous state certifications for tutoring and professionally tutored while obtaining my degree in astrophysics. Subjects I have tutored include all math through calculus III, algebra and calculus based physics, and English. I now teach 6th-12th grade science which includes physics, biology, forensics, astronomy, chemistry, and all other general sciences. I love all science and math and bring a positive, passionate, and fun outlook to those subjects.

It is my belief that the best learning happens in a fun, engaging, and relaxed atmosphere. I promise to work to understand you and help bridge the gaps of understanding complex topics in a positive, fun way.
My initial approach begins with an overview of your current studies and informal assessment structure where we discuss prior knowledge and current gaps while getting to know each other. I will then develop individualized lesson plans for you paired with other useful study practices outside of class and tutoring.
My goal is to help you succeed both in the subject you are learning and provide you with skills to continue succeeding in the future.
