As a Philosophy graduate with papers in Modern French Literature, I can assure that the essay-writing skills that I've obtained through the Philosophy side of my degree have been essential to my success in Literature papers, and my deeper understanding of literary criticism as a whole. I believe that these skills are of immense value to my students, whose progress in essay-writing and expression of complex ideas becomes evident very rapidly.
