A learning session with me is what I would hope to receive if I were seeking assistance with my educational experiences. My goal is to pinpoint the concept(s) learners may be struggling with, and intercept the possible misconceptions. We will evaluate their prior knowledge to see where to start. There will be a mix of explicit instruction along with independent tasks so learners can show me they have the ability to complete given material on their own. I enjoy using discovery models as well when possible, the hope is to construct intrinsic motivation through our sessions so learners feel empowered to continue learning on their own.
