My essay planning method involves breaking down topics into manageable sections and then building up a coherent and persuasive argument. For GCSE and A-Level students, I emphasise the PEEL method to create strong, well-supported essays to meet exam criteria.

With a focus on making history engaging and accessible, I am here to support you at every stage of your learning journey - from understanding complex historical events to developing the skills needed to write with clarity and precision.

A. A focused discussion on the subject.

3. Skill development (15-20mins): We then work on specific skills related to the topic, such as essay writing, source evaluation, or argument construction. This may involve:
A. Structuring essays or arguments.
B. Breaking down past exam questions.
C. Reviewing drafts or preparing for presentations.

4. Discussions and reflection (10-15mins): At the end of each session, I encourage reflection through discussion or Q&A. We consolidate learning, address any uncertainties, and set goals for the next session.

5. Homework/Follow-up tasks: I provide optional follow-up tasks or readings to reinforce the lesson's content and prepare for the next session.
