About Nicholas
I am a graduate from Warner Pacific University and have had many experiences teaching kids from working in a middle school choir and band setting to coaching soccer teams. I will always maintain professionalism and will take into account any requests or considerations you may have. I am also experienced in teaching adults and it is never too late to learn a new skill. Anyone can sing or play an instrument with enough determination, and I will always be positive and encouraging to whoever my student is.

For singing, I can teach students how to use good technique that can be useful no matter what style is their preference. I will start with assessing where you are starting from and work from there. For beginners I would start with teaching breathing techniques and singing on pitch, and would then move on to intonation and scales. From there we could work on whatever style of singing you wanted to focus on.
For percussion I am able to teach beginner to intermediate skills. For beginners we would assess what you are able to do and work from there. Once again, I would start with basics like rhythm and keeping a beat, and would then move onto more complicated skills as you are able.
If you would like to learn music theory skills and how to read sheet music I am also able to provide that as well.
