Madame Josianne is by far the best teacher I’ve had not just when it comes to teaching French but in all the aspects that make a great teacher. She teaches discipline and responsibility, whilst also having a contagious passion for the language of French. I am grateful to have had her teach me French from a young age. I had Madame Josiane as my French teacher for two years, and she was truly exceptional. She was always ready to help us, ensuring we fully understood the language by using a variety of methods—oral practice, written exercises, and reading activities. One time, when I was struggling with a complex grammar topic, she took extra time to go over it with me until I felt confident. She pushed us to reach our highest potential and encouraged us to go beyond our limits. I learned so much with her, and I’m sure any student who has her would feel the same way!

Josiane and I were colleagues at the American International School in Kuwait; we worked together in the same department, Language Acquisition, for three years. Josiane always impressed everyone by her dedication to teaching French to her students using various teaching methods to accommodate all students with different levels of language knowledge and different learning styles. Josiane’s professionalism is always reflected in her preparation of lessons and work sheets, and in designing indoor and outdoor activities that help the educational process. Organization is a key component of Josiane’s work, helping her achieve the desired goal in the best way.

With the embracing learning environment she consistently provides, Josiane’s competence and passion for teaching changed the conception of (learning French is hard), to (learning French is FUN)!
