About Jildou

I have a bachelor's degree in teaching the English language and I also have experience teaching at different levels and ages. Not only have I taught in front of the class, but I also have experience with tutoring and homework guidance and giving private lessons.

At the moment I mainly teach online. I like this because you can work from anywhere and the web also offers many opportunities for practicing the language in fun and challenging ways.

About the lesson

Hey!

As a certified English teacher, I have experience teaching in high school, as well as one-on-one online and tutoring.

It doesn't matter if you don't speak English at all or if you are already advanced. Maybe you want to prepare for an exam or you want to improve your English because you are moving abroad. I can help you with this!

I think the most important thing is that you feel comfortable during my classes, that you dare to ask questions and make mistakes. Because that's how you learn! In addition, I use different types of exercises that I adapt to your interests, goals and level.

I'm a student who is in the last year of high school (Netherlands, havo, exam year). My English was really bad and I really had to work on that so I took classes off Jildou. She is a great teacher because she helped me so much. I had to work on my writing and also grammar and she helped me with both. She explained expecially grammar very well like: tenses, adjectives/adverbs, etc. Thanks to Jildou her help I passed my exam. Before her help I was not even able to write a short e-mail or anything but now I can. Thank you Jildou!

Yo no sabía mucho de Inglés y estaba muy preocupado por que necesitaba viajar a otro país para estudiar. Jildou es una muy buena profesora, explica todo muy bien y es muy paciente. Gracias a ella ahora hablo mucho más Ingles.

Volgend schooljaar ga ik in het buitenland studeren en daarom wilde ik aan mijn Engels werken. Jildou heeft me hierbij de juiste begeleiding gegeven. Met behulp van haar bijlessen ben ik nu in staat gesprekken te voeren in het Engels. Daarnaast snap ik nu hoe de Engelse grammatica werkt want hiermee had ik ook veel moeite. Ik durfde nooit in het Engels gesprekken te voeren maar dankzij Jildou kan ik dit nu wel!
