I might be a certified math teacher, but I feel like I am more of a certified math cheerleader. Regardless of what anyone else says, I believe that every student is a math student. I am here to explain mathematical concepts to students in ways that no one else has before while encouraging and reassuring each student that they are good at math. I build math confidence.

As a math teacher, I believe that every student deserves to have math explained in a way that matches their individual learning style. In every lesson, I strive to explain concepts with plenty of visuals, games, examples, and real-life scenarios that are entertaining and relevant to each individual student. My goal is to help each student understand the concept and allow them to apply it to their personal life in some way. I believe it is so important to value the student before valuing the concept.
