About Robert
Occasionally, I will either notice a student that I taught or they'll notice me. More than not, I find that my "babies" made it. Some of my old students are working in the neighborhood, while others are in high school or going to college. A parent of one in particular recently told me that her daughter just completed her Master's degree. I'd like to think I played a part in her success and that of others.

I have taught math since 2003, from elementary to middle school. I have taught from several curriculums. I currently tutor at an inner-city school, where my students' math proficiency scores showed substantial growth on national test scores. My approach to my lesson preparation / delivery is establish a foundation with concepts and build logic connections that lead to higher-level thinking.
