As per my experience, deep knowledge about mathematics and a unique interaction with students, make them learn the subject in a fun way and give them a better understanding of the concepts as well as practical applications of it.
Also, apart from the main concepts, I teach them few things from Vedic Maths which helps them to make their calculations smooth and quick..
