To learn to program there is no better way than "programming" !!! I don't want you to know what happens inside the computer when you hit a key, I want you to learn how to build. Programming allows you to create anything! My degree thesis was a simulation with Python of filters, according to what you wanted to do the program told you all the materials with which to build it step by step and the results you should get. Besides, I worked with LabView which is a more visual programming language and very interesting to use since it is quite intuitive. I used this one, together with Arduino, to make a very simple game with a photoresistor ... You can create whatever you want !!! Just think about it and do it !!!
