About Melissa
I am a middle school math teacher, but have tutored high school math. I have majored in math in college, as well as education. Math was always a strong subject for me as I loved finding different methods and ways to solve and find the answers. It is an amazing subject to create your best strategies to solve a problem.

I currently teach middle school math; 6th -8th grade. I make my lessons friendly with examples to allow students to follow along. With examples students are able to see the work needed and shown to provide them with the process and work needed to solve. I allow students to ask questions, become engaged to better their learning experience. Questions are wanted and welcome to help students better understand the concepts and material.
