About Lucy
I am Lucy, I’m 19 years old. I study at University College cork, I am a first year student studying English. I am a native speaker of English Chinese German.
I grew up in Germany moved back to china at the age of 6, I am experienced with language learning and I can empathize with students that struggle to get the hang of learning Chinese.

I believe in discussion based teaching, there will be lots of interactions between students and teachers enhancing listening and speaking skills.
I like to keep things short and easy. Things such as grammar points will be given and explained at the beginning of the class throughout the course the input will be examined through questions.
I focus a lot on vocabulary, there will be a bit of creative writing when it comes to assignments. I like to be creative home work would usually be involved with writing small essays with new words covered in class.
I also see the building of language structures very important that is also going to be a key component of the class
