About Margo
I am a guitar tutor with 7 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Music in World Music with a focus on guitar traditions. My training exposed me to many styles, but my heart also belongs to heavy music. I love fast playing.
I teach techniques drawn from metal, shred, and progressive rock performance. Students learn alternate picking, economy picking, and clean fretting control. Precision matters. Speed comes later but grows steadily.
I guide young learners and adult players step by step. We build hand synchronization and accuracy first. Then we push tempo safely. Fast playing should feel controlled.
We practice scales, modes, and fretboard mapping in musical ways. I also help students understand phrasing and articulation. Notes should speak clearly.
My goal is to help you play fast, clean, and confidently. Together we develop powerful technique and expressive playing.
