About Harriet
Hi, I love to engage with students and really understand and help them with their learning goals. After finishing my BA in English and French in Belfast, I moved to France for 2 years to get to know the language and teach English. I have had the opportunity to work with very young children all the way up to adults and love to get people animated and enthusiastic about the language I am teaching. I find that each student learns differently, whether with English literature, French or EFL and finding how best to help my students is a challenge I enjoy. I have experience teaching both languages and am happy to help all ages. I have been through French and English GCSE and A level and would love to help on these particular points as well. I'm currently studying for a master's in Speech and Language Therapy and so love all things communication! In my spare time I love to read, eat cheese and discuss literature - don't hesitate to get in touch. Harriet was a great tutor. She helped me progress through the basics fast and with great understanding. She was patient, and very good at explaining and parts I was stuck on. She has a lot of great tricks and tips she pulls from to make learning French a much easier process. I’m very grateful. .
