About Skyler
I have always been passionate about helping others, in the classroom and beyond! My previous clients describe me as kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I was an elementary school teacher for 2.5 years before going back to school and getting my Ph.D. During that time, I tutored college students at the University of Florida. I have worked with students with all kinds of backgrounds: students with severe cognitive disabilities, gifted students, 3-year-olds who have never attended school, college athletes, students with severe behavioral challenges, and many others.

I provide individualized instruction for students with varying ability levels. My tutoring method is student-centered, and I am happy to work with students with behavioral challenges. I have experience tutoring reading, writing, math, and science. I can assist students with existing homework, assign extra lessons or activities, or assist students with their own creative projects.
