About Jacqui
For the last 2 and a half years, I have taught Kindergarten, Grade R School Readiness, Grade 1 English Second Language Students in South Africa (ages 4-6 years). Their home language is isiXhosa. Prior to this I taught for 2 years at a homework centre assisting learners ages 7 to 13 years.

My teaching methods are the Teach Test Teach approach, and the Present Practice Produce Method of teaching. I believe in using the interactive method as much as possible with more student talk time and less teacher talk time. The more students practice the language, the better their language skills will become.
