About Thornton

I completed my first three years of college at Grinnell College studying Physics and am now studying Mechanical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis as part of a dual-degree program.

I used a math tutor through 8th grade, and it made a tremendous difference—not only in my understanding of math, but in my confidence. That experience inspired me to become a tutor myself. My goal is to help students truly understand the material and build the confidence to tackle any problem put in front of them!

About the lesson

I have been tutoring for more than 4 years, and I have experience helping middle school, high school, and college students find confidence and success in their math and physics classes! I know how difficult these classes can be, so I will always be patient and understanding. Finding success in a tough math or physics class can sometimes take some time, but I have no doubt I can help you get there.
