About Deborah
As a special education teacher, I have the ability to work with students and disclose the material to students either through play or through structured lessons that are related to the lessons.
Materials are age/ability leveled with each student’s needs at the forefront.
I have taken middle school students who could not read to be able to read and comprehend.

I have been trained in Phonic education, special education, reading, mathematics and English Language Development. I have the know,edge to determine the best way for students to learn and adapt lessons to that .i work with every student to see where they are and to help them grasp the new material.
Through observation, discussion and some minimal assessments I have the ability to determine where the student is and move them forward.
I start with a review of what was previously covered, then explain the new material and connect it to the previous knowledge. Review and moving forward helps students to grasp new material and keep the materia to build on further.
