I have nine years as a Career, Professional ESL Teacher. Before that I was the Director and Associate of a Financial Services Firm in Cambridge, Ontario Canada.
In those years, I've extensively used, taught and trained Academic English, IELTS, TOEFL, Test Prep, ESL and a wide range of other related disciplines including training other ESL Teachers.

ESL is one of the most difficult teaching roles. A person can't just jump into it without thinking and without being qualified.
Every student has the potential to be different in some small or large way. Communications of thoughts and ideas have to be inventive, methods have to be effective and results lasting. It's hard enough to talk with a neighbor from another country, imagine the techniques a teacher has to be able to spontaneously develop in a lesson, from student to student.
Concrete, effective and lasting results stem from enjoyable lessons, not game playing.
