First, I will introduce myself and get to know the student and their level of skill and interest in photography. We will discuss what they want to learn and what their goals are. Then, we will go over the fundamentals of using a camera and getting to know the basic settings. I will start with the basics and then move on to more advanced techniques as we go depending on the students level and interest.

As a photography instructor, my goal is to help my students develop the technical skills and creative vision to become successful photographers. My teaching style is active and hands-on, as I strongly believe that the best way to learn photography is by doing it.

I have over 10 years of experience as a professional photographer, working in a variety of genres including portrait, commercial, and fine art photography. I also have a 4-year degree in photography, which has given me a strong foundation in both technical and artistic aspects of the field.

In my classes, I start by covering the fundamentals of exposure, camera settings, and composition. These are the building blocks of photography and understanding them is crucial for creating great images. I then introduce my students to different genres of photography and discuss the techniques and equipment used for each one.

I believe in the importance of hands-on practice, so I always encourage my students to bring their cameras to class. We do in-class exercises and assignments, as well as go on field trips to practice shooting in various environments. This allows students to apply the concepts they have learned in a real-world setting and receive immediate feedback from me.

One of my main goals as an instructor is to help my students develop their own unique style and vision as photographers. Therefore, I also dedicate time to discussing the creative aspects of photography, such as storytelling, using light and shadow, and post-processing techniques.

I am passionate about photography and I strive to create a fun and engaging learning environment for my students. I am always open to questions and am happy to provide individualized attention to help students overcome any challenges they may face.

Overall, my teaching style is hands-on, interactive, and tailored to the individual needs of my students. My goal is to equip them with the skills and knowledge they need to pursue their passion for photography and achieve their goals.
