About Renee
I’m a college instructor with 15 years of teaching experience, and I’ve taught a wide range of courses including basic and advanced computer skills, Microsoft Office applications and digital design. I’ve worked extensively with Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Animate, as well as industry-standard 2D animation software. Additionally, I have extensive experience using AI tools effectively for creative work and problem-solving.
I teach core design fundamentals and storytelling techniques that help you create work that is effective and impactful. You’ll learn composition and visual hierarchy to guide the viewer’s eye, along with practical methods for developing strong story ideas, planning scenes, and shaping believable characters. I can help you understand why certain choices work, not just how to make them, so you can build a solid creative foundation and apply these skills confidently in your own projects.
My teaching style is patient, organized, and focused on helping you learn with confidence, knowing you’re supported by someone who has guided many students through both foundational and advanced skills.
