About Susan
Coordinate geometry, algebra, mental math, and arithmetic form the bedrock of my instruction. I can hear the sharp scratch of a pencil against paper when a student finally solves a difficult problem. My 13 years of experience teaching Math informs my systematic approach.
I earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Stanford University. Number sense and geometry are central to the way I think. My personal history involves helping candidates move from falling behind to top exam bands. I prefer direct communication regarding progress.
