About Chanceler
Hello! My name is Chanceler Hood, and I’m a math tutor for students from Kindergarten through 9th grade. I’m currently a junior at Georgia Southern University, majoring in Computer Engineering. While I may not have decades of teaching experience, I’ve always excelled in math throughout my academic career. I also served as a teacher’s assistant in a 2nd grade classroom during high school, which gave me hands-on experience working with young learners. My goal is to provide affordable, reliable tutoring to help all students succeed—especially those from lower-income backgrounds who may not have access to many educational resources. I understand firsthand how limited those opportunities can be, and I’m passionate about making a difference. I promise to give your child the best support possible and create a positive, encouraging environment for learning. Thank you for considering me as a tutor!
