About Ian
I have taught students of many different ages and skill levels. I have a bachelor’s degree in instrumental performance from the University of the Arts and a Master’s in jazz performance from William Paterson University. I have studied with incredible musicians including John Swana, Matt Gallagher, and Jeremy Pelt. I have performed numerous times in New York City and Northern New Jersey.

Whether you are a beginner on trumpet or an experienced player looking to learn or improve at jazz, I try to make sure you get better from each lesson and stay inspired to practice on your own.
