About Hannah
As a first generation college student, education is incredibly important to me and I believe it something to be shared and accessible for all. I completed a dual Bachelors in Applied Statistics and Actuarial Science before recently finishing my Masters in Biostatistics.
While my experience in university was a lovely time, I understand that the typical academic setting does not always provide conditions to learn that suite every student. For that reason, I want to provide a flexibly learning environment structured around the uniqueness of each student that I have the opportunity to work with.

Having been a student for most of my life, I understand the frustrations that come with learning new topics. My focus in tutoring is to help students work through these moments in topics that may be more difficult and learn to embrace these challenges. My main topics include Algebra, Statistics, Spanish and Geometry.
I am open to helping students of all ages, but would prefer to focus on elementary to middle school ages as these times can be crucial in building the confidence in these topics.
Frequent breaks are encouraged and clear objectives during sessions will provide a healthy space for learning and witnessing progress. I would like students to leave feeling refreshed and empowered by their willingness to push themselves in new ways rather than defeated by something that challenges them :)
