About Caspian
As a biochemistry student with advanced upper-division training in physical chemistry, molecular biology, and metabolism, I approach tutoring with the same discipline and precision that I bring to laboratory research. My approach as a tutor is structured, analytical, and deeply focused on long-term understanding rather than short-term memorization. As a biochemistry student trained in upper-division STEM coursework, I teach students how to think through problems mechanistically, breaking complex material into smaller components, understanding cause-and-effect relationships, and then rebuilding the full concept with clarity. I am also a huge fan of memory tricks and pneumonics, making memorization easy!
