- What kind of experience do you have?
As a performer i am known as a soloist, chamber musician and continuo player. I regularly perform at differing venues across the UK, which include intimate chamber venues as well as larger establishments such as The Southbank Centre in London, Birmingham Town Hall, Sheffield Town Hall and the Warwick Arts Centre. I am a member of The Hepplewhite Piano Trio, who i will be recording with in the forthcoming year for Convivium Records, and have been asked to do a tour a tour of China with. As soloist i have performed on BBC Radio 3's 'In Tune', and have performed with several professional orchestras, including a tour of China with The Orchestra of the Swan.
I have an interest in historical performance, so as well as the cello, i also play the baroque and classical cellos, the viola da gamba and tenor viol, the bass violin and the arpeggione. I am currently involved in researching the bass violin and its role in England.
