About Maria Antonnia

Hi! My name's Maria. I'm an 18-year-old undergraduate student currently majoring in philosophy, law, and ethics. I've loved writing from a young age and fell in love with English when I moved to the United States at eight years old. I've helped family members, friends of family members, acquaintances, and friends with English; from basic conversational vocabulary to college essays and everything in between. I'm excited to get to work with you and hope you will start liking English as much as I do (or, at the very least, understand it well enough to pass a course).

About the lesson

I've taught English in Brazil, am currently pursuing law, have published four works, and help classmates improve their own grades in English. When learning with me, I will not only help you with your schoolwork, but also gradually identify points you may struggle with and try to make sure you understand them so that you can use those skills moving forward in your life. It's very important to me that you have a good experience while learning, so I'll try to make the subject as interesting as possible (even though, admittedly, some assignments are very boring). Overall, I can help you improve your skills through trial and error and try to ensure you get something positive out of the class.
