About Aliyah
I am a passionate and dedicated Psychology student who genuinely loves helping others understand the subject. Having completed my A-Levels and now studying Law at university, I have first-hand experience of what A-Level Psychology entails and how to achieve strong marks.
Throughout my studies, I developed a range of effective revision and exam techniques, including helpful strategies shared with me by my own Psychology teacher for improving exam answers and gaining marks. I am excited to share these techniques with my students and help them approach their exams with better confidence.

My approach to tutoring is mainly centred around the understanding and then, consolidating of psychological knowledge, in which students begin to view psychology as an easy subject that can be remembered and applied.
My aim is to tailor lessons to the individual student by identifying their level of understanding of psychology as a subject. Then, any area of difficulties identified would be focused on by breaking down the concepts, tackling exam questions and teaching successful exam techniques.
My lessons would typically last 1-2 hours, but this time frame can be adapted to individual preference.
As an A* psychology student, now studying law, I have firsthand experience regarding successful ways to maximise marks in psychology. Despite my recent introduction to professional tutoring, I have helpful exam techniques -taught to me by my psychology teacher- that allowed me to improve my grade, thus I intend to pass these strategies to my students.
My lessons are primarily focused on A-level psychology students. I am happy to work with students of different abilities, helping them understand and learn to love psychology as much as I do.
