Chloe was my VCE chemistry teacher in year 12 and I still refer to her as ‘Ms Cook’ by habit. Her attitude to teaching was the reason behind my attentiveness to the content. I was able to understand the study design and actually apply my knowledge with the multiple practice questions she would hand out to the class. She also really cares about her students’ wellbeing and not just their academic progress. Chloe is an amazing teacher and anyone would be lucky to be taught by her!

Ms Cook was my chemistry teacher for my year 12 back at high school and she was one of the most memorable, passionate and strong-willed teachers I have ever met. I don't know anyone else who loved to genuinely connect with her students more than her and her teaching style is very engaging. She doesn't just read off lecture slides like most teachers, she uses models (e.g. to teach atomic bonds), gives us time to practice difficult skills without skipping over to more content via skill based worksheets and provides extra support during all times of the day. I honestly don't know whether I would've succeeded in chemistry without her because she changed my whole perspective on the subject. One experience includes my difficulty with complex redox equations, in which me and her effectively annotated the VCE study design's chart together and she taught me some simple (and silly) tricks to remember them even when im stressed. This helped me multiple times when I panicked under timed conditions and caused me to feel more confident with topics built on redox basics. Overall, I'd recommend this teacher to anyone who wants a lifelong mentor and friend in one!
