I'm a certified science teacher with hands-on classroom experience in Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology. My teaching method and techniques
I'm a certified, highly effective science teacher with classroom experience teaching Chemistry, Biology, and Anatomy & Physiology at the high school level. My approach is built around one core belief: confusion is almost never the student's fault, it's a sign the concept hasn't been understood in the right context yet. I start every tutoring relationship by diagnosing where the breakdown happened, then work backward to rebuild understanding from the ground up. I use real-world examples, visual breakdowns, and active recall techniques rather than just re-reading notes. If something isn't clicking, I have multiple ways to explain it until it does.
What sets me apart
Beyond having taught these exact subjects in a classroom, I spent two years in a fast-paced tech startup where communication, clarity, and getting complex ideas across quickly were non-negotiable. That sharpened my ability to explain things efficiently to people with no background in a subject. I'm also available evenings and weekends — when most students actually need help — and I don't cancel. Reliability matters when you have an exam coming up.
