About Leonardo

I am an 18-year-old student at the end of the High School. During the 5 years I chose to take extra-curricular courses in English for the learning of English that led me to achieve, in 2017, the Cambridge certificate of English proficiency level C2, the maximum possible. The same year I had the opportunity to work for a month in London from Harrods, the famous London Department Store, as a sales assistant. I like to describe myself as a determined boy, that this year will begin the university course from outside the Milan office to carry out studies of Mechanical Engineering.

About the lesson

My Philosophy: Being an 18-year-old boy I have a very youthful approach with my students. I believe that learning any language can only take place by creating an interest in that language and the culture behind it. We all have interests, curiosity in our lives, but often they are set aside for pure laziness. What I aim to do is to rediscover to my students the interests that are already present in them and show them how they are always connected to the use of English as a means of international communication. Learning method: Although I am very young, I have tried a great number of teaching methods on my skin, nevertheless I believe that the most effective is undoubtedly the use of English in everyday life. It may seem like a very difficult task for a first analysis, but I'm sure it will be a natural process after some lessons. In my opinion what is often missing in teaching is the comparison with reality, my English instead derives almost exclusively from this and aims to make the boy more involved in the language and less fearful of making mistakes. Types of Lessons: Lessons can be of any kind depending on the needs of the student, they can therefore vary from the aid in performing tasks to their conversation in exclusive English language.
