About Ria
Hi! My name is Ria and I am a rising senior in high school. Since 7th grade, I have been taking math classes 2+ years above my grade level and have rose to the challenge and passed each one with flying colors. As a junior, I received a perfect score of 800 on the math section of the SAT, demonstrating my proficiency and confidence in mathematics. Over the last few years, I have served as a tutor for my peers in different class levels and my friends' siblings.

As a student who has been taught virtually, I know firsthand which strategies work and which ones don't when it comes to online learning. I will make sure to keep my students engaged while educating them on how math concepts apply to more than just the problems in their textbooks. I can provide lessons in arithmetic, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry, among other subjects. In a typical lesson, I would start by reviewing any homework or concepts from the previous lesson, answering my students' questions, introducing them to a new concept with an example problem, and while they practice the concept, demonstrate ways in which their new knowledge can apply to the real world.
