About Srushti

Hi! I'm Srushti, and I know firsthand that school can be both exciting and overwhelming. Between classes, sports, clubs, tests, and everything else life throws at you, it's easy to feel stuck or fall behind in a subject. That's why I love tutoring—helping students gain confidence and realize they're capable of more than they think.

As a student myself, I understand the challenges that many students face because I've experienced them too. I've learned how to manage demanding coursework, prepare for exams, and balance academics with leadership roles and extracurricular activities. More importantly, I've learned that success isn't about being naturally gifted, it's about finding the right approach to learning.

My goal as a tutor is to make learning less stressful and more approachable. I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and learning at their own pace. Rather than simply giving answers, I help students understand concepts so they can solve problems independently and feel confident in the classroom.

Whether you need help with a challenging subject, want to improve your grades, or simply need someone to explain things in a way that makes sense, I'm here to help. Every student learns differently, and I enjoy finding the methods that work best for each individual. Seeing a student go from "I don't get this" to "I can do this on my own" is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring.

About the lesson

I believe that the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in their abilities. As a high school student myself, I understand the challenges of balancing classes, extracurricular activities, sports, and personal commitments. Because of this, I focus not only on helping students improve their grades but also on teaching them effective study habits and problem-solving skills that will help them succeed long-term.
My teaching style is patient, interactive, and personalized. Rather than simply giving answers, I guide students through the thought process behind a problem so they can learn how to approach similar questions independently. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning style, whether they learn best through visual examples, step-by-step explanations, practice problems, discussion, or real-world applications.
A typical tutoring session begins with a quick check-in about recent assignments, quizzes, or areas of difficulty. We then review any challenging concepts and work through examples together. Once the student feels comfortable, I provide guided practice problems to reinforce understanding and identify any remaining gaps. At the end of each lesson, I summarize the key takeaways and provide strategies or practice recommendations for continued improvement. Sessions are designed to be engaging and productive while moving at a pace that matches the student's needs.
What sets me apart is that I am a current high-achieving student who has recently mastered many of the same subjects and challenges my students face today. I understand modern classroom expectations, study techniques, and common obstacles because I have experienced them firsthand.
In addition to my academic experience, I hold leadership positions in multiple organizations, including Civil Air Patrol, and have experience mentoring younger students. These experiences have strengthened my communication, patience, and ability to explain complex topics in a clear and relatable way.
My tutoring services are designed for elementary, middle school, and high school students seeking support in a variety of academic subjects. Lessons are particularly well-suited for students who want extra help understanding class material, preparing for quizzes and exams, improving study habits, completing homework more effectively, or building confidence in challenging subjects.
