About Zachary

Hi, I'm Zachary! I am a senior at Eagle Rock High School in the International Bachelorette Program as a Diploma candidate. I have gotten an A in every math course I've taken. I took AP Calculus AB last year and I am very confident in my math skills. I've also scored 1540 on the SAT (790 Math section). I often help my friends and underclassmen with their homework. My parents and some family members are teachers so I have picked up some of their teaching skills as well.

About the lesson

- Initial Assessment: I begin by understanding the student’s current level of knowledge, strengths, weaknesses, and specific goals. This helps tailor the tutoring sessions to their unique requirements.
- Setting Objectives: We set clear, achievable objectives for what the student aims to accomplish. This could be mastering a particular topic, improving grades, or developing specific skills.
- Regular Reviews: Periodically review previously covered material to reinforce learning and ensure retention.
- Practice and Application: Provide ample opportunities for practice, including homework assignments, quizzes, and practical exercises.
- Regular Feedback: Provide constructive feedback on the student’s progress, highlighting areas of improvement and celebrating successes.
- Adjusting Methods: Continuously assess the effectiveness of the teaching methods and adjust them based on the student’s progress and feedback.
