I like to teach my students with real life scenarios and provide real life analogies to really help them understand a concepts instead of memorize it. In terms of the sciences, I believe that memorization can only be helpful in specific areas. On the other hand, understanding a concepts and being capable to apply it to daily lives with examples is a skill of great importance which proves to me a meaningful understanding of a concept or principle.
