About Alani
I am currently a senior in high school that has taken AP English Language and also currently taking AP English Literature. I know how difficult English classes can be whether it be struggling on how to start an essay or not being able to find the deeper meaning of literature themes. I have written various forms of essays and taken tests that have results that show that my understanding of English is ahead of that of someone who is in the same grade as me.

I would like to help struggling students who may be having a difficult time writing effective essays by using the techniques I was taught during my years of advanced English. I also believe it to be beneficial to see what works specifically for my student.
My typical lesson plan would be to identify where my student needs the most help in terms of writing, reading, or analysis.
Having me as a tutor would help students that have not taken advanced versions of English classes stand out more to their teachers as well as have the ability to excel in the different aspects of English. Explanations would also be easy for students to understand since I am currently a student and know how confusing teacher teaching methods can be.
I am willing to teach any student that is a senior in high school or any grades lower than that.
