About Sally

My name is Sarah Macarthy. I am a graduate of economics from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I stumbled into the world of fashion design during my youth service. What started out as a means to ease boredom became a hobby I became passionate about such that I turned it into a full-fledged business. I have always loved to teach so I infused my love for teaching with my passion for fashion design and I pour myself into showing willing students the tricks and trade secrets of successfully drafting their own patterns and turning the skill into a money spinner. I have Facebook group, WhatsApp group and YouTube channel where I share some knowledge freely to my students.

About the lesson

I will teach students with explanatory illustrations through videos and photos. You will learn: 1. Definition of terms and fashion overview 2. How to measure accurately and principles to take note of when measuring clients 3. How to draft basic bodice, sleeve, skirt, trouser 4. How to adapt the basic bodice to princess style lines 5. Principle of contouring 6. Principle of dart manipulation 7. The art of corset making; drafting and stitching, etc
