Highly qualified and experienced Teacher to tutor Maths or Science any level at home

Methodology

I am a capable, confident & compassionate Mathematics & Science teacher who has 20+ years teaching experience at secondary & tertiary level. I have dramatically lifted the performance of many students through meticulous preparation & a motivational teaching style. I have remained abreast of WACE/ATAR requirements.
As a specialist teacher, I believe I can engage even the most disinterested student. I believe finding where a student is with regard to the required skills and knowledge and adapting teaching strategies and techniques to cater the different needs of students and thoroughly monitoring this progress with quality resources achieves success.

Background

I have a Graduate Diploma in Education (awarded with DISTINCTION) and been teaching for 20 years. I have written a textbook used in TAFE sector, designed on line units for first year University students, and privately tutored two Beasley Medal Winners. I am a Doctoral student and been part of curriculum and syllabus committees whilst been both a Teacher and Head of Department in High Schools.
I tend to focus on helping students understand and solve their problems, reviewing essential skills and knowledge drawing from my experiences with a variety of teaching approaches.
