About Anya
With 13 years of teaching piano, I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from young children starting out to college students and working professionals looking to refine their skills. My teaching philosophy combines patience, encouragement, and a creative approach to learning, allowing each student to progress at their own pace while developing strong technical abilities and musical understanding.
I have guided students through performances, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve personal milestones and public recognition. Lessons include technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance, and I encourage students to explore different musical styles, develop their own voice, and gain confidence in expressing themselves through music.
