About Amelia
I have been tutoring for 5 years, starting in school and progressing through my university degree, teaching over 50 students. My students regularly achieve two or more higher grade points, as well as more confidence and essential exam techniques they can apply. I achieved A* in Maths IGCSE, as well as A-Level, not getting lower than 97% in any exam.

My teaching method is based on what the student needs. I give lessons up to A-Level maths. My lesson structure is myself going through some background and easy questions on a topic, then working through some questions together, before allowing the student to work through one by themselves. I don't regularly set homework, as I understand students get enough from school, but am happy to give advice on one's own revision. When it comes closer to exams, going through past papers is the most helpful, starting at the end of the paper with the harder questions to make sure our time is spent best.
