About Yaliyah
My name is Yaliyah, I am a sophomore in high school. Math and science are and were always my favorite subjects. It would be a very fun experience to be able to teach someone else my tricks for some of the math I know. My favorite science subject is forensics which I took in freshman year and I hope I can help someone out with it as well. I look forward to get to know my mentee and help improve their efficiency in those subjects.

I teach math and science for K-8. I learn what lessons the child is working on, then see what they know, what they're getting, and what they don't know. I then help them based on this information. I might give some of my personal tips and trick for certain subjects, and teach them additional information for the future. I try to approach stress calmly, and reassure a student if they have any difficulties, and I try different techniques if one doesn't work out. I go through things step by step at the students pace and I always aim to be open-minded toward them.
