I create/setup lesson plans to better suit each student's learning style, pace, and goals. My goal is to make sure students really understand the material, not just memorize it. If not adjusted, my typical lesson plan would be to go through worksheets provided by the teacher, as they would be the guideline of the lesson. To further enhance their skills, I would create similar questions for them to continue to practice and master. My lessons are for middle school to high school students (Grade 6-11), but I'm also more than willing to tutor younger students, as my experience with students from 5-10 has both tested my patience and clear communication skills. The main difference that sets me apart as a tutor is my student experience. As a current high school student, I understand the struggles one may have. I know how it is to be confused or under pressure. Through this experience, I would help students build confidence and believe they're capable of anything.
