About Alessandro

I do have work experience working in primary schools to create activities with other volunteers. I have also have experience in pre-school and the staff were very pleased with how I engaged effectively with the children. My A-Levels were in history, psychology and English literature/language
My GCSEs cover philosophy, geography, history, German and all the core subjects including maths, science and English
I have a basic understanding of Italian because of my heritage

About the lesson

I am an archaeology student at the university of York, one of the most prestigious in the country. I am capable of teaching about almost area of history and I am happy to teach anyone of primary school age to 16 years old.
I have 11 GCSEs from A*-C and I achieved A* in history.
I am extremely patient, fair and empathetic and I base my lessons upon how the students are progressing and encouraging them based on which aspects they find most interesting, since I hope to instil passion and joy into the subject of human history and prove that it's not all dusty books and endless lists of dates. My particular periods of interest include Persians, Romans, Saxons, Vikings and WW2
